Carrie Kitner

Carrie P. Kitner, a native of Houston, Texas, graduated from Emory University in 2007 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish.  In 2010, Carrie graduated with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law. During law school, Carrie, fluent in Spanish, participated in the Law School's Immigration Clinic, conducting more than a dozen hearings before federal judges and officials. She was also a Board Member of Texas Law Fellowships, a student organization dedicated to public service. Carrie’s prior legal experience includes working for the Depart of Justice in Washington, D.C., as well experience with a large international law firm. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association. For more than a decade, Carrie has been an active member in Amigos De Las Americas, an international, non-profit that participates in community service and training in Latin America, and has spent significant time in Costa Rica, Honduras, and Mexico.
